AD Ports Group Hits Record Profits Amid Major Expansion

Fri, Aug 14, 2026(1h ago)Business

AD Ports Group has achieved its strongest quarterly performance to date, with second-quarter net profit soaring by 88% to Dh836 million. This impressive growth was driven by significant gains across the company's maritime, shipping, and logistics divisions, along with robust activity in its economic cities and free zones. Overall revenue for the quarter ending June 30 climbed by 47% to Dh7.08 billion, signaling a period of sustained momentum for the UAE-based conglomerate as it expands its international footprint and operational capacity.

The group’s success was underpinned by a strategic increase in shipping capacity and successful property transactions, including a major warehouse sale in KEZAD. To further bolster its supply chain network, the company has heavily invested in infrastructure, adding 400 trucks, increasing rail service frequency, and launching new air freight routes. Looking ahead, the firm is set to strengthen its global presence even further, having recently announced a Dh3.1 billion acquisition of Brazil’s Corredor Logistical Infrastructure, a move that reinforces the management's confidence in their integrated business model and diversified trade strategies.
