UAE leaders extend condolences to Saudi King following passing of Prince Hamoud’s mother
UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has reached out to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to offer his heartfelt sympathies. The message comes in response to the recent passing of the mother of Prince Hamoud bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, reflecting the strong bond and shared sorrow between the leadership of the UAE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In a similar gesture of solidarity, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, along with Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister, also dispatched formal notes of condolence to the Saudi monarch. The passing, which was officially confirmed by the Saudi Royal Court on August 4, has prompted an outpouring of support from the UAE’s top leadership during this period of mourning for the Saudi royal family.
