Arab-Israeli Party Backs Eisenkot for Prime Minister
The United Arab List, widely recognized by its Hebrew acronym Raam, has officially announced its support for opposition leader Gadi Eisenkot to head the next Israeli government. This decision comes in the wake of the recent national elections, as political factions begin the complex process of building a new coalition.
Ahead of a scheduled meeting with President Isaac Herzog, who is currently consulting with various party representatives to determine who has the best chance of forming a stable government, Raam released a formal statement confirming their endorsement. This move marks a significant development in the post-election landscape as the country navigates the next steps of its political formation.
