Apple’s Latest iPad Mini Arrives in the UAE with Powerful Upgrades
Apple has officially unveiled the latest iteration of the iPad mini in the UAE, bringing a host of significant hardware enhancements to its most portable tablet. Starting at Dh2,849 for the Wi-Fi model and Dh3,449 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular version, this new device introduces a vibrant 8.5-inch OLED Super Retina XDR display. By trimming the bezels by 24 percent, Apple has managed to pack a larger screen into the familiar compact frame. The display now hits an impressive 1,200 nits of peak brightness and offers an optional nano-texture coating to combat glare, all while being housed in an IP67-rated water and dust-resistant chassis.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the swift A20 Pro chip and features an innovative Acoustic Display for a more immersive audio experience. For creators and professionals, the updated 12MP front camera is now positioned along the edge to improve video calls, while the 12MP rear camera benefits from Smart HDR 4 and 4K video recording. Available in midnight and starlight finishes with storage options up to 512GB, the new iPad mini supports both the Apple Pencil Pro and USB-C models. Pre-orders begin on October 28, with retail availability starting November 6; eligible students can also take advantage of discounted pricing, with the entry-level model starting at just Dh2,649.
