This electronic system allows travellers to apply for, track, and receive permits for personal medication use directly online. By moving away from manual processes, the Ministry aims to improve efficiency and maintain strict pharmaceutical safety standards. Travellers can easily access the platform via the health authority’s official website, which also includes a comprehensive guidebook detailing the application steps and a full list of regulated substances.

To secure a permit, applicants must log in through the National Authentication System and provide thorough details about their treatment, including the diagnosis, active ingredients, dosage, and a copy of their valid medical prescription and official identification. It is essential to submit these requests at least five working days before departure, as processing typically takes three business days. Once approved, the permit remains valid for 90 days. Travellers are reminded to print their digital permit and carry it—alongside their original medical report and prescription—whenever entering or departing the country to ensure a smooth and compliant journey.
