Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Joins 18th BRICS Summit in India
Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has reached New Delhi to head the UAE delegation at the 18th BRICS Summit. Representing UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince is accompanied by a high-level group of officials, including Reem Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, and Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology.
The visit, which takes place from September 12 to 13, 2026, underscores the deepening diplomatic and economic ties between the UAE and India. Indian officials have expressed a warm welcome, emphasizing that the summit serves as a vital platform to bolster the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two nations, particularly in the sectors of energy security and bilateral trade. This year’s BRICS gathering, hosted by India under the theme "Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability," prioritizes collaborative efforts toward long-term development and global innovation.
