Additionally, visitors must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online within 72 hours of their arrival. Authorities also suggest carrying at least THB 20,000 in cash to meet immigration requirements, and emphasize that those traveling for work purposes must obtain the appropriate employment visa rather than relying on this exemption.

In a reciprocal gesture of goodwill, the Indian government has announced that Thai nationals can now obtain 30-day e-Tourist visas free of charge. This double-entry visa initiative is scheduled to remain active until the end of 2027, making it easier for Thai citizens to explore India. Travelers are reminded to keep their travel itineraries and necessary documentation organized, as these remain vital for a seamless experience at border control for both Indian and Thai tourists utilizing these new travel benefits.
