Paid Parking System Now Operational in Sharjah’s Aljada

Wed, Jul 15, 2026(90d ago)Real Estate

Starting July 15, Parkin has officially launched its automated parking management system across Sharjah’s Aljada community. The new initiative utilizes advanced Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology, allowing drivers to enjoy a seamless, ticketless experience. This rollout encompasses a variety of on-street, off-street, and retail parking zones. While current residents maintain their existing parking rights as stipulated in their property agreements, any additional parking needs will now be governed by these new paid regulations, which can be managed easily through Parkin’s digital portal.

The pricing structure varies depending on the location and time of day. On-street parking along East Boulevard is priced at Dh6.30 per hour, 24 hours a day. Meanwhile, off-street parking lots will cost Dh4.20 per hour between 8:00 AM and midnight. For those visiting retail areas such as The Boulevard, Tiraz, and Misk, the first two hours are complimentary, with a subsequent rate of Dh10 per hour. As the community continues to expand, this partnership between Arada and Parkin aims to provide high-standard infrastructure to accommodate the thousands of people who live, work, and visit this bustling urban hub.
