Emirati Women Drive Dh2.7 Billion Investment in Sharjah Real Estate
Emirati women have cemented their position as a driving force in Sharjah’s real estate market, pouring Dh2.7 billion into the sector within the first eight months of 2026. Data from the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department reveals that 3,737 female investors participated in 3,385 property transactions during this period. This surge in activity highlights not only their growing economic influence but also their deep trust in the emirate’s legislative framework and long-term development goals.
Released in honor of Emirati Women’s Day, these figures demonstrate consistent upward momentum compared to the previous year. Specifically, the trading value rose by 1.2 percent, while the total number of female investors and traded properties grew by 4.2 percent and 1.9 percent, respectively. Amal Obaid Hadid, from the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, noted that these achievements are a direct result of the National Strategy for the Empowerment of Emirati Women, reinforcing the commitment to ensuring women continue to serve as essential partners in the nation’s ongoing economic renaissance.
