Damac Properties Hits Major Milestone with Over 50,000 Homes Delivered

Wed, Sep 2, 2026(2h ago)Real Estate

Dubai-based developer Damac Properties has reached a significant milestone by officially handing over more than 50,000 residential units. Building on this momentum, the company has set its sights on delivering an additional 8,800 homes throughout 2026, supported by an aggressive construction pipeline of over 55,000 units. To facilitate this rapid expansion, Damac awarded construction contracts exceeding Dh10 billion in the first half of the year alone, fueling progress across signature projects like Damac Lagoons, Damac Hills, and its various towers in Business Bay and Downtown Dubai.

The scale of this operation reflects a broader surge in Dubai’s real estate market, which saw nearly 25,000 homes completed in the first half of 2026—a 36% increase compared to the previous year. Damac is spearheading a large portion of this growth, with Damac Lagoons set to be a primary contributor, targeting the completion of 6,300 homes within the year. As the developer balances these immediate deliveries with the planning of its massive 100-million-square-foot project portfolio, leadership remains focused on navigating global supply chain challenges through strict quality control and proactive procurement management to ensure long-term stability.
