Dubai Property Market Poised for Moderate Correction by 2027

Mohamed Alabbar, the founder of Emaar, anticipates a potential 5 to 10 percent price adjustment in Dubai’s real estate sector as a significant wave of new supply enters the market by 2027. While this increase in inventory is expected to create a healthier, more balanced landscape, Alabbar remains optimistic about the long-term outlook. He noted that if regional geopolitical tensions subside, the market has the resilience to rebound and accelerate rapidly, suggesting that current fluctuations are largely a reaction to global uncertainties.

Despite these fluctuations, investor confidence in the region remains remarkably high. Alabbar highlighted that Emaar continues to maintain a strong collection rate of 96 percent on previously delayed payments, a testament to the enduring trust investors place in Dubai’s government and its economic stability. Speaking at the AIM Congress, he encouraged international investors with liquid capital to view the current landscape as a prime entry point, emphasizing that the UAE remains a resilient destination for those looking to capitalize on long-term growth and prosperity.
