Sharjah Real Estate Market Hits Dh46.8 Billion Amid Strong Growth
Sharjah’s real estate sector has demonstrated remarkable resilience and growth during the first nine months of 2026, with total transactions climbing to Dh46.8 billion—a 14 percent increase compared to the same period last year. According to the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, the emirate recorded over 91,000 transactions, driven by a steady demand for residential properties, which made up the vast majority of sales. Key areas like Muwaileh Commercial, Al Bataeh, and Al Khan emerged as top performers, highlighting a broad interest in the emirate's diverse property portfolio.
Beyond the surge in sales, the market was bolstered by the launch of 22 new real estate projects spanning residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. Abdul Aziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director General of the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, attributed this upward trend to the region's flexible regulatory framework and its ability to attract both local and international investors. Moving forward, the department remains committed to upgrading its digital infrastructure and streamlining registration processes, ensuring that Sharjah remains a competitive and highly attractive hub for property investment.
