Dubai’s Property Market Soars with Dh100 Billion in New Projects
Dubai’s real estate sector is witnessing a remarkable period of growth, with the value of new projects reaching Dh100 billion in the first half of 2026—a significant 52 percent increase compared to the previous year. According to the Dubai Land Department, this surge accounts for over 24,000 new residential units, underscoring the city's commitment to its long-term development goals, including the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the 2040 Urban Master Plan. Beyond construction, the market has seen massive transactional activity, with 2025 alone recording Dh917 billion in sales and a robust rental sector exceeding Dh100 billion.
To maintain this momentum, the government is heavily investing in digital transformation and accessibility. Artificial intelligence is now being leveraged to slash the time required for property contracts, allowing transactions that once took days to be completed in mere minutes. Furthermore, initiatives like the First-Time Home Buyer program have already empowered over 3,200 individuals to enter the market, while upcoming international roadshows in markets like India and the United States aim to cement Dubai’s status as a top-tier destination for global investment capital.
