NEET 2026: Students Can Now Access Admit Cards Without Bank Verification
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has simplified the process for the upcoming NEET (UG) 2026 re-examination by removing the requirement for immediate bank account verification. Previously, students were concerned that this verification step was a prerequisite for accessing their hall tickets. However, the agency recently clarified via social media that candidates can download their admit cards right away, while the bank details needed for the examination fee refund can be submitted at a later date without affecting their eligibility for a reimbursement.
With the re-exam scheduled for June 21, the NTA is urging all aspirants to download their documents promptly and thoroughly review the details, including personal information, reporting times, and exam center locations. Students are advised to keep two printed copies of the admit card handy for the day of the test. This re-examination, which will be held in a single shift with an extra 15 minutes allocated for administrative tasks, follows the cancellation of the initial May 3 assessment due to reports of a paper leak.
