The incident, which occurred around 11:40 p.m., prompted an immediate security response, as officials discovered a suspicious object near the airport’s southern runway. To ensure safety, bomb disposal teams were deployed to the site, though police have since clarified that there is no ongoing threat to the general public.

While operations were temporarily suspended, the airport partially reopened during the early hours of Wednesday using only the northern runway.
