Tragic Florida Learjet Crash Claims Lives of Texas Family and Crew
A devastating plane crash in Palm Beach County, Florida, has claimed the lives of nine people after their private Learjet 60 plummeted into a residential area this past Sunday. The flight, which was en route to the Bahamas, ended in tragedy when the aircraft went down, leaving behind a scene of wreckage and a smoldering crater. Among those lost were two experienced pilots—Jeff Gregory and 20-year-old co-pilot Nathalia Filgueiras—as well as a Texas family of four, their nanny, and two close friends.
The victims included Adam Robinson, a prominent tech CEO, and his partner, Helen Sharp, alongside their two young children, Emma and Charlie. Friends and neighbors have since paid tribute to the Austin-based family, describing them as kind and vibrant individuals. As the National Transportation Safety Board and the FAA launch a formal investigation into the cause of the disaster, officials are still working to secure the site and determine if a cockpit voice recorder was on board. The charter company, Upper Jets, has pledged its full cooperation as authorities begin the difficult process of uncovering what led to this heartbreaking loss of life.
