Emirates Introduces EMI Payment Options for Indian Travelers

Wed, Jul 15, 2026(4h ago)Business

Emirates has rolled out a new, flexible payment initiative for travelers in India, allowing them to book flights across its global network of 140 destinations without the burden of an upfront cost. By opting for Equated Monthly Instalments (EMI) during the checkout process on emirates.com, passengers can now break down their travel expenses into manageable payments ranging from three to 36 months. This service is available to customers using credit cards from a wide selection of major Indian banks, including HDFC, ICICI, SBI, Axis, and several others.

Mohammad Sarhan, Vice President for Emirates in India and Nepal, emphasized that this move is designed to make international travel more accessible and budget-friendly. By offering these tiered payment plans, the airline aims to help customers plan their long-awaited vacations or even upgrade their travel experiences with greater financial ease. This strategic shift reflects Emirates' commitment to enhancing the booking process, ensuring that travelers can manage their expenses effectively while enjoying the airline’s premium services.
