Syncing Fitbit and Pixel Watch Data with Apple Health

Tue, Aug 4, 2026(1h ago)Technology

Google has finally addressed a major pain point for iPhone users by enabling direct data syncing between its wearable devices and Apple Health. With the release of Google Health version 5.05, users can now export essential fitness metrics—such as step counts, workout summaries, sleep tracking, and vital signs—straight to Apple’s native platform. Previously, this process required cumbersome third-party workarounds, but this update streamlines the experience, allowing your activity data to flow seamlessly into the Apple ecosystem.

To enable this feature, ensure your device is updated to the latest version of the Google Health app, then navigate to the "Connections" tab, select "Apps and services," and choose "Apple Health" to begin the setup. You will be prompted to grant permissions for specific categories, which can be managed at any time through the Apple Health privacy settings. This functionality, which is available globally including in the UAE, requires iOS 16.4 or later and an adult Google account. While not every granular data point may transfer identically, this integration provides a much more cohesive view of your health and wellness for any compatible apps on your iPhone.
