Air India Express to Launch First International Flights from Navi Mumbai to Abu Dhabi
Starting July 15, 2026, Air India Express is set to make history as the first airline to launch international operations from the newly established Navi Mumbai International Airport. By inaugurating a direct route to Abu Dhabi, the carrier is significantly enhancing travel options for residents across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. This new connection serves as a vital bridge for business travelers and the large Indian diaspora, providing a convenient second gateway to the UAE from India’s financial hub.
The service will initially commence with twice-weekly flights, with plans to ramp up the frequency by the end of July. Currently, passengers can book their tickets through the airline’s official website, mobile app, and other major travel platforms. With this latest expansion, Air India Express now manages 30 weekly departures from Navi Mumbai, including domestic links to Delhi and Bengaluru. This move reinforces the airline's dominance in the India-West Asia corridor and marks a major milestone in establishing Navi Mumbai as a key player in international aviation.
