On Tuesday, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan led the nation in honoring UAE Flag Day by hoisting the national flag at the historic Qasr Al Hosn. The solemn ceremony was set to the stirring notes of the national anthem and featured 55 distinguished individuals from across various professional sectors. By inviting these talented citizens to participate, the leadership highlighted the vital role that human capital plays in the country's ongoing evolution, celebrating the 55 years of progress since the nation's founding.

Reflecting on the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed and the early Rulers of the UAE, Sheikh Mohamed shared a message of optimism on social media, emphasizing that the people remain the nation’s greatest strength. Beyond the official ceremony, the event served as a call to action for the entire country; citizens and residents across the UAE joined in by hoisting their flags at 11 am. Established in 2013 by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, this annual tradition remains a deeply symbolic tribute that commemorates the anniversary of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s accession to the presidency.
