A Guide to the Sheikh Zayed Festival in Abu Dhabi

Tue, Nov 3, 2026(3h ago)UAE

The Sheikh Zayed Festival is back in Al Wathba, offering an immersive blend of global culture and family entertainment for just Dh10. This season, visitors can enjoy everything from high-tech virtual reality rides and laser displays to the tranquil Al Wathba Floating Market. Beyond the amusement park thrills, the festival serves as a vibrant hub for heritage, featuring a Popular Souq and dedicated pavilions from over 15 countries, including Japan, Egypt, India, and Morocco. Whether you are exploring the Rare Species Reserve or watching traditional Emirati handicraft demonstrations, there is something for every age group to enjoy.

Open daily starting at 4pm, the festival runs until midnight on weekdays and extends until 1am on weekends and public holidays. While standard admission is very affordable, the event also offers tiered VIP packages—Silver, Gold, and Platinum—which include perks like dedicated parking, raffle entries, and dining discounts. Entry remains free for children under three, seniors over 60, and People of Determination with a companion. To plan your visit or secure your spot, you can easily purchase tickets and explore the full lineup of cultural and sporting events at zayedfestival.ae.
