Dubai Residents to Access Regulated Gardening Services via Careem
Starting this September, Dubai residents can easily book professional gardening services directly through the Careem app. This new initiative, titled ‘Al Freej Gardener,’ is a collaborative effort between Dubai Municipality, Dubai Police, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA), and Careem. By centralizing these services on a single, regulated platform, the city aims to provide homeowners with access to licensed experts for everything from basic garden maintenance and irrigation installation to expert agricultural consulting.
Beyond convenience, the program is designed to enhance community security and ensure all work is carried out legally. Dubai Police will lead awareness campaigns to promote safe residential practices, while the GDRFA will oversee visa compliance to ensure all professionals are working legally. Meanwhile, Dubai Municipality will provide ongoing training to ensure that gardening services follow sustainable standards. Through this partnership, Careem will vet all participating companies, ensuring that customers receive a safe, reliable, and standardized experience for their home garden needs.
