UAE Reaches Milestone of 1,000 Days of Gaza Relief Operations
The United Arab Emirates has officially reached a significant milestone, marking 1,000 days of its "Operation Chivalrous Knight 3" initiative dedicated to supporting the people of Gaza. Launched under the guidance of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, this extensive relief campaign has delivered over US$3.89 billion in critical assistance. By coordinating a complex logistics chain involving more than 770 flights, 25 ships, and 13,000 trucks, the UAE has successfully transported over 126,000 tonnes of food, medical supplies, and essential relief items to those facing severe hardship on the ground.
Beyond immediate emergency supplies, the operation has become a vital lifeline for healthcare and long-term recovery. The UAE’s network of field and floating hospitals has treated more than 230,000 patients, while innovative projects like the "Birds of Goodness" airdrops reach isolated populations. Furthermore, the initiative focuses on sustainable development by operating automated bakeries, desalination plants, and the "Step of Hope" program, which provides prosthetic limbs and rehabilitation to amputees. This ongoing effort highlights the UAE's steadfast commitment to human dignity and its proactive approach to alleviating suffering in conflict zones.
