Ajman’s Government-wide AI Integration: A New Era of Efficiency
Ajman has officially launched the executive phase of its ambitious government-wide artificial intelligence programme, marking a significant milestone in the emirate's digital transformation journey. Spearheaded by Sheikh Humaid bin Ammar Al Nuaimi, this initiative is designed to embed AI technologies across all public sector departments. By establishing a robust framework centered on governance, capacity building, and digital enablement, the emirate aims to streamline internal operations and elevate the quality of public services through a structured and responsible approach to emerging tech.
The three-year roadmap is built upon eight core pillars of the Ajman Vision, with a goal of executing 100 distinct AI initiatives. To ensure success, the government has already introduced its first regulatory package, which includes the formation of specialized governance committees and the establishment of clear executive roles. Following the initial planning and coordination phases held earlier this year, these new operational protocols are now in full effect. By appointing departmental coordinators and launching a comprehensive inventory of AI use cases, Ajman is positioning itself to translate high-level technical strategies into measurable, real-world improvements for its government performance.
