Dubai’s RTA Expands Instalment Options for Traffic Fines and Services

Wed, Aug 5, 2026(43m ago)UAE

The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has significantly upgraded its digital payment ecosystem by integrating the instalment platform Tabby across all its online channels. While this flexible payment option was previously limited to self-service smart kiosks, residents can now split their payments into four manageable instalments directly through the RTA website, the RTA app, and the nol Pay app. This expansion covers a wide range of services, including traffic fine settlements, driver’s license renewals, vehicle registration, and even the purchase of premium vehicle number plates.

This move is part of a broader commitment to Dubai’s Cashless Strategy, aimed at transitioning toward a completely seamless, smart government experience. By offering more financial flexibility to customers, the RTA hopes to boost digital adoption and ensure that essential government services are more accessible to everyone. With Tabby now fully integrated, the authority continues to prioritize user convenience, helping citizens manage their administrative costs more effectively while supporting the city’s vision of becoming a global leader in digital innovation.
