Free Summer Camp at Dubai's Mohammed Bin Rashid Library: A Guide for Parents
If you’re looking for a productive way to keep your kids engaged this summer, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library (MBRL) in Al Jaddaf is hosting a fantastic “Explore & Play” camp from August 3 to 15. Designed for children aged 5 to 12, this two-week program runs daily from 3pm to 8pm and offers a wonderful mix of educational workshops and fun recreational activities. Best of all, the camp is largely free to attend, with only a few select premium sessions requiring a small fee of up to Dh40. Parents can easily secure a spot for their children by visiting the library for walk-in registrations.
The curriculum is thoughtfully crafted to boost creativity and personal development through a variety of hands-on sessions. Kids can get crafty at the Creative Skills Corner, practice mindfulness with expert-led yoga and breathwork sessions, or sharpen their problem-solving skills at the Lego-focused build area. Beyond the daily workshops, the camp keeps things exciting with themed events like 'Dino Discovery Day' and 'Under The Sea Discovery Day,' along with interactive treasure hunts. It’s an excellent opportunity for children to learn new skills, make friends, and stay active in a safe, inspiring environment during their school break.
