UAE set for warmer weather as temperatures climb nationwide

Tue, May 26, 2026(1h ago)UAE

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecasted generally fair weather across the UAE for Wednesday, May 27. While conditions will remain pleasant for the most part, residents should prepare for humid conditions overnight and into Thursday morning, particularly in coastal regions. Gentle southwesterly to northwesterly winds are expected to blow at speeds between 10 and 25 km/hr, occasionally picking up to 35 km/hr, while sea conditions in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea are set to remain calm.

As the country heads into the Eid Al Adha break, temperatures are expected to trend upward. Urban hubs like Abu Dhabi and Dubai will see highs of 41°C and 39°C, respectively, while Sharjah is forecast to hit a peak of 40°C. Inland areas will face the brunt of the heat, with thermometers potentially climbing to a scorching 47°C. Even the mountainous regions of Ras Al Khaimah will experience a shift, with temperatures expected to fluctuate between 28°C and 31°C.
