Dubai Tourism Enhances Travel Experience with New Visa and Membership Initiatives
Tourists heading to Dubai can now streamline their travel preparations thanks to a new initiative from the city’s official portal, Visit Dubai. As of November 1, the platform has integrated single- and multiple-entry visa applications directly into its website, allowing travelers to handle their paperwork while booking activities and planning their itineraries. The site provides a comprehensive resource for visitors, detailing everything from specific visa categories and required documentation to processing timelines and costs. Generally, a 30-day single-entry tourist visa starts at Dh200, with applications typically completed within three working days.
This major update was unveiled by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, as part of a broader strategy to boost the city’s tourism sector. Beyond the simplified visa process, the government also introduced the Dubai Access Club, an exclusive, invitation-only membership program. Designed to reward those who frequently travel to the emirate, this club aims to provide repeat visitors with unique benefits and tailored experiences, further solidifying Dubai’s status as a premier global destination.
