Donald Trump Plans to Replace 'Artificial Intelligence' with 'Super Intelligence'

Wed, Oct 28, 2026(2h ago)World

Former President Donald Trump has publicly declared his intention to phase out the use of the term "artificial intelligence," labeling it both inaccurate and inadequate. In a recent post on his Truth Social platform, Trump took aim at the Wall Street Journal, questioning why the publication has not yet adopted his preferred terminology, "Super Intelligence" (SI). He insisted that this alternative is already becoming the industry standard and should be the primary way the technology is described moving forward.

Beyond mere semantics, Trump expressed a firm commitment to formalizing this change across the board. He announced that his administration—or future directives—would implement an official ban on the phrases "AI" and "Artificial Intelligence" in all relevant government documents and public communications. By branding the current nomenclature as misleading, the former president is pushing for a widespread linguistic shift that he believes better reflects the true nature and potential of these advanced technologies.
