Aramex Hits Record Revenue as Q2 Profits Surge Seven-Fold
Aramex has delivered an impressive performance in the second quarter, reporting a seven-fold surge in net profit to Dh47 million. This substantial growth was anchored by record-breaking quarterly revenue of Dh1.83 billion, marking a 22 percent increase compared to the previous year. The logistics giant credited this success to a surge in freight forwarding demand, the implementation of flexible transit routes during regional disruptions, and a strictly disciplined approach to managing operating expenses through its ongoing Accelerate28 transformation initiative.
Beyond the top-line growth, the company saw a significant improvement in its bottom-line efficiency, with EBITDA rising 73 percent to Dh181 million. Group CEO Amadou Diallo emphasized that the company’s ability to pivot its network—utilizing alternative land, air, and sea routes—ensured service continuity despite market volatility. With a healthy cash balance of Dh503 million, Aramex is well-positioned to continue investing in its long-term strategic goals, signaling a period of robust operational health and sustained momentum for the remainder of the year.
