Authorities seized approximately $59,000 worth of food items that failed to meet safety standards, along with over $4,000 worth of pharmaceuticals stored without the necessary licenses. This operation is part of a broader, nationwide regulatory crackdown targeting major retail and food service brands across the country.

In response to the findings, Amazon stated that it is currently examining the inspectors' observations and intends to take corrective action. While the company maintains that it has strict internal protocols to prevent non-compliant products from entering its supply chain, industry insiders suggest that Amazon is now working to further fortify these controls.
