UAE’s Musafir Holdings Expands Reach with Acquisition of Cleartrip.ae and Flyin.com

Fri, Sep 18, 2026(1h ago)Business

UAE travel giant Musafir Holdings has officially moved to take full control of FLYCT MEA Holdings, the parent company behind the popular regional travel sites Cleartrip.ae and Flyin.com. Having already held a 25 percent stake in the firm, Musafir is purchasing the remaining 75 percent from the founding management team. The transaction is currently moving through the necessary regulatory channels and is set to create a powerhouse in the Middle Eastern travel sector.

By folding these consumer-facing air-booking platforms into its existing portfolio, Musafir aims to provide a more cohesive travel experience. The integration combines FLYCT’s digital booking capabilities with Musafir’s extensive services, which include corporate travel, visa assistance, and holiday packages. Leadership from both sides has expressed confidence that this merger will provide customers with greater convenience, a more diverse selection of products, and a stronger, more reliable travel ecosystem across the region.
