Apparel Group’s Supply Chain Recovery and the Surge in Digital Retail
Apparel Group CEO Neeraj Teckchandani recently shared a positive outlook on the company’s operations, noting that the supply chain disruptions caused by regional instability are now mostly behind them. With approximately 80 percent of logistics issues resolved, the group has successfully navigated a challenging period by activating robust business continuity plans. Alongside this operational stabilization, the company has seen consistent growth in its online business, a trend that took root during the pandemic and has since become the "new normal" for retail.
To keep pace with evolving consumer demands, the Dubai-based conglomerate is doubling down on digital innovation, exemplified by the launch of its new AI-driven app, AIVI. This shift toward "connected commerce" has been heavily influenced by a rise in quick-commerce expectations, with the group now offering delivery within an hour in the UAE and 90 minutes in Saudi Arabia. This rapid delivery model has become a core component of their business, now accounting for over a third of their total sales, as the company continues to refine its strategy to remain competitive in an increasingly fast-paced global market.
