A 32-year-old man has been found guilty of robbery by a Dubai court following a violent altercation triggered by a financial disagreement. According to official court documents, the defendant ambushed the victim as he was leaving his family’s apartment, launching a sudden physical attack by punching him in the face. During the struggle, the assailant brandished a knife to overpower the victim, successfully stealing a gold-plated chain valued at Dh700 before fleeing the scene.

Law enforcement officials launched a swift investigation after the victim reported the assault to Dubai Police. By analyzing surveillance camera footage and collecting testimonies from witnesses, investigators were able to piece together the events and identify the perpetrator.
