Ras Al Khaimah Police Crack Down on Reckless Stunt Driving

Wed, Jun 17, 2026(2h ago)UAE

Ras Al Khaimah authorities have taken decisive action against two young men, aged 18 and 20, following reports of dangerous stunt driving in the emirate. The reckless maneuvers not only jeopardized the safety of the drivers themselves but also posed a significant threat to other motorists and pedestrians. After monitoring the situation, specialized police units successfully tracked down and apprehended both individuals, immediately impounding the vehicles used in the prohibited activities.

The case has now been handed over to the legal authorities for further prosecution as part of the department’s zero-tolerance policy regarding road safety. Officials have issued a stern warning to the public, emphasizing that actions such as drifting, sudden swerving, and stunt driving are strictly prohibited under UAE Federal Traffic Law. Authorities remain committed to protecting public property and community welfare, reminding drivers that violating these traffic regulations can lead to heavy fines, vehicle confiscation, and serious legal consequences.
