During his inspection, Al Kaabi met with the emergency teams and personnel who handled the situation, praising their professionalism and the effectiveness of the plant's safety frameworks. He emphasized that the successful containment of the incident—where one drone struck a generator near the facility—demonstrated the robustness of the UAE’s nuclear regulatory system and its unwavering commitment to protecting both the public and the environment.

Beyond the review of the incident response, Al Kaabi conducted a comprehensive assessment of the plant’s current operational status and ongoing maintenance activities. He held discussions with the team of resident inspectors stationed at the site, reinforcing the necessity of maintaining a rigorous, independent regulatory presence to ensure full compliance with international safety standards.
