Dubai Launches ‘Nad Zabeel’ to Become a Global Hub for Future Research
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, has officially unveiled "Nad Zabeel," an ambitious new research complex designed to serve as a central pillar for future development. The site aims to become a magnet for 30,000 specialists and researchers, providing them with the resources needed to drive innovation across vital sectors that impact human life. By creating this specialized space, Dubai aims to solidify its position as a global leader in forward-thinking research and development.
In his announcement, Sheikh Mohammed emphasized that true progress relies on proactive preparation rather than a reactive approach to global changes. He noted that the challenges faced by nations often stem from being too slow to adapt or plan for the future, rather than the pace of technological advancement itself. Nad Zabeel will join an elite ecosystem of institutions—including the Museum of the Future and the Dubai Future Academy—to foster a world-class environment dedicated to long-term vision and strategic foresight, ensuring Dubai remains at the cutting edge of global development.
