UAE weather: Temperatures to soar to 42ºC across major cities

Sat, Jun 20, 2026(45d ago)UAE

The National Centre of Meteorology has forecast generally fair conditions across the UAE this Saturday, though residents should expect occasional cloud cover, particularly over the eastern regions. The day will be defined by light to moderate breezes that may pick up in intensity at times. While conditions will remain mostly stable, the heat will be significant, with peak temperatures potentially reaching as high as 48ºC in certain parts of the country.

In the major urban centers, residents should prepare for warm weather, with the mercury climbing to 42ºC in Abu Dhabi and 41ºC in Dubai. Nighttime cooling will offer some relief, as temperatures are expected to drop to lows of 30ºC and 32ºC in those respective cities, while mountainous areas will see more comfortable lows of around 25ºC. Meanwhile, humidity levels will fluctuate between 20 and 75 percent depending on the location, and maritime conditions are expected to be slight to moderate across both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
