Work from Al Barsha Pond Park for just Dh50 a day

Mon, Nov 2, 2026(1h ago)UAE

Dubai residents looking to escape their home offices or crowded cafes now have a refreshing alternative at Al Barsha Pond Park. A new collaborative project between Dubai Municipality, Group AMANA, and Letswork has launched the "Work from Park" initiative, which transforms a portion of the green space into a professional workspace. For a Dh50 day pass, visitors gain access to the facility from 8am to 8pm, complete with a complimentary coffee. The space is well-equipped to host about 100 people at once, offering everything from individual desks to private meeting rooms for those needing a quieter environment to focus or collaborate.

This initiative aims to blend professional productivity with the city's lush public amenities, allowing freelancers, students, and remote workers to enjoy the park's jogging tracks and recreational areas during their downtime. According to Omar Almheiri, co-founder of Letswork, the long-term goal is to expand this concept to other parks and even beachside locations across the city. By bringing flexible workspaces directly into residential neighborhoods, the project seeks to reduce commuting stress and maximize the utility of Dubai’s public spaces, aligning perfectly with the city’s broader 2040 Urban Master Plan.
