UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan touched down in Belgrade this Thursday for a formal working visit, marking another step in the strengthening ties between the two nations. Upon his arrival at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, he was personally greeted by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić. The UAE leader is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, and several other key government ministers and officials.

This visit follows a previous diplomatic mission by the UAE President to Serbia in September 2025, highlighting the consistent growth of bilateral cooperation. The current trip is part of a broader regional tour for Sheikh Mohamed, as it comes immediately after he concluded a working visit to the Slovak Republic on Wednesday. These high-level engagements underscore the deepening partnership and ongoing communication between the UAE and its European counterparts.
