UAE Weather Forecast: Scattered Showers and Rising Humidity Expected

Wed, Oct 28, 2026(2h ago)UAE

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecasted fair to partly cloudy skies across the UAE for Thursday, October 29. Residents in the northern and eastern regions should prepare for potential convective cloud development, which is expected to drift toward select internal areas, potentially bringing scattered rainfall.

As the day transitions into the evening and early Friday morning, humidity levels are set to rise, particularly in coastal and inland zones. This shift in weather may lead to the formation of mist, so commuters should exercise caution. Meanwhile, winds will generally be light to moderate, originating from the southeast and northeast, though they could pick up speed—reaching up to 50 km/hr—when clouds are present, leading to dusty conditions. The Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea are expected to remain relatively calm, while temperatures in major cities like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah are forecasted to reach highs between 35ÂșC and 37ÂșC.
