Dubai Recalls Baby Sleep Gripe Water Over Safety Concerns

Thu, Oct 29, 2026(1h ago)UAE

The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has officially issued a recall for specific batches of "Babies’ Magic Tea – Baby Sleep Gripe Water" after discovering serious regulatory breaches. According to the recent circular, the product was found to contain undeclared alcohol and lacked the necessary marketing authorization required for sale in the region. Health officials are now prioritizing the safety of infants by pulling these products from shelves across the country.

Parents are being strongly urged to check their supplies immediately, specifically looking for batch number 25122bw. The Emirates Drug Establishment has advised families to stop using the product at once and avoid purchasing it in the future to prevent potential health risks. This regulatory action is part of a broader, ongoing effort by UAE authorities to strictly monitor consumer goods and ensure that all health-related products meet established safety and quality standards.
