UAE Condemns Iranian Drone Attacks on Kuwait
The United Arab Emirates has issued a firm condemnation following a series of hostile drone strikes directed at Kuwait. In an official statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs described these actions as an inexcusable breach of Kuwait’s national sovereignty, emphasizing that such aggression poses a direct threat to regional peace and stability. Standing firmly with their neighbors, the UAE reiterated its full support for any measures Kuwait deems necessary to defend its borders and protect its citizens.
The escalation began early Friday when the Kuwaiti military identified and intercepted several hostile drones navigating through its airspace. According to Brigadier General Saud Abdulaziz Al Otaibi, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence, these incursions specifically targeted critical military and civilian infrastructure. While authorities confirmed that there were no fatalities resulting from the incident, the debris from the downed drones caused some localized property damage. Kuwaiti officials have since reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining the integrity of their territory and ensuring the safety of the nation against future threats.
