Their discussion also touched upon shared global priorities, specifically focusing on sustainable development and the upcoming 2026 UN Water Conference, which the UAE is set to host.

Beyond economic and developmental agendas, the meeting served as a gesture of mutual diplomatic appreciation. President Begaj awarded Sheikh Mohamed the Grand Star of the Supreme Order of the Eagle, the highest state honor in Albania, to recognize the UAE leader's pivotal role in fostering a strong partnership between the two countries.
