The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has officially announced that Dubai will host the debut RailX Conference and Exhibition from May 31 to June 2, 2027, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Held under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the event aims to position Dubai as a central global hub for the evolution of rail and transport infrastructure. Organizers anticipate a massive turnout, with over 5,000 attendees, 60 exhibitors, and 70 industry experts expected to gather to discuss the future of passenger transit, logistics, and high-speed rail connectivity.

Running under the theme "Building the Future of Rail and Mobility," the conference will focus on critical industry pillars, including technological integration and economic strategy. The program is divided into five core themes—Reach, Advance, Invest, Link, and X-Perience—covering everything from artificial intelligence and automation to cybersecurity and public-private partnerships. Alongside the academic sessions, the exhibition floor will highlight cutting-edge innovations, featuring the latest in train hardware, smart-maintenance systems, and sustainable infrastructure, with the China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation already confirmed as a primary partner.
