He also addressed broader regional humanitarian and political challenges, labeling the conflict in Sudan as the world’s largest humanitarian disaster and reiterating the need for a civilian-led government. Furthermore, he emphasized that stabilizing Lebanon requires bolstering its national institutions and army, while simultaneously supporting unified institutional reform in Libya to finally move past years of instability.
