NEET UG 2026 Results: Aryan Gupta and Panshul Bansal Secure Top Ranks

Fri, Jul 17, 2026(1h ago)World

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the results for the NEET UG 2026, marking a significant milestone for medical aspirants across the country. Ludhiana’s Aryan Gupta claimed the top spot, securing All India Rank (AIR) 1 with a near-perfect percentile of 99.9999. He was closely matched by Haryana’s Panshul Bansal, who achieved the same exceptional percentile to secure AIR 2. Out of the nearly 2 million students who sat for the exam across 551 cities, over 1.1 million candidates successfully qualified, ensuring the medical admission and counseling process remains on schedule.

The list of high achievers highlights the competitive nature of the exam, with candidates like Uplakshya Goyal from Rajasthan and Ayush Bhalotia from Bihar rounding out the top four positions. Notably, Kudale Shravani Krishna from Maharashtra distinguished herself as the highest-ranked female candidate, securing AIR 5. Across the top 138 ranks, Maharashtra dominated the charts with the highest number of successful candidates, followed by Rajasthan and Punjab. For those who reached the top, the path to success was paved with rigid discipline, consistent self-study—often reaching up to seven hours a day—and invaluable emotional support from their families.
