Sharjah's Real Estate Market Records Massive 61.8% Surge in July

Thu, Aug 6, 2026(1h ago)Business

Sharjah’s property market experienced a remarkable upswing in July 2026, with the total value of real estate transactions soaring to Dh7 billion. This impressive 61.8% increase from the previous month’s Dh4.4 billion highlights a period of intense activity, characterized by over 9,370 individual transactions spanning 27.2 million square feet. Experts attribute this sustained momentum to the emirate’s favorable investment climate, ongoing infrastructure projects, and a regulatory framework that continues to attract both local and international investors seeking long-term stability.

The market activity was widespread, touching 129 different areas across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. Ownership certificate deals topped the list, while mortgage transactions contributed significantly with a value of Dh1 billion. Sharjah City remained the primary hub for investment, particularly in areas like Muwaileh Commercial and Al Sajaa Industrial, which led in both transaction volume and trading value. Meanwhile, the Central and Eastern regions also saw healthy engagement, proving that Sharjah’s strategic development is fostering growth across the entirety of the emirate rather than just its central districts.
