British Airways Announces Revised UAE Flight Schedule

Thu, Sep 17, 2026(38m ago)Business

British Airways has officially shared an update regarding its Middle East operations, confirming that flights to Dubai are set to return on November 3. Initially, the route will operate once per day throughout the winter season, with plans to ramp up to a twice-daily frequency once the summer schedule commences. This decision comes as the airline works to navigate the complexities of the regional landscape, aiming to offer passengers more reliable travel planning.

Conversely, those hoping for a quick return of service to Abu Dhabi will have to wait longer, as flights to the capital remain suspended until the winter 2027-2028 season. The airline noted that these adjustments were necessary to provide travelers with better certainty, and it continues to monitor regional conditions closely. Since the initial suspension of UAE routes in February 2026, the carrier has focused on assisting stranded passengers and optimizing capacity on other international routes, pledging to restore full connectivity to the region as soon as it is safely feasible.
