Dubai Opens Doors: 400 New Real Estate Job Opportunities for Emiratis
The Dubai Land Department (DLD) is significantly boosting its efforts to integrate UAE nationals into the private property market, aiming to fill over 400 new positions during the fourth edition of its "Real Estate Day for Emirati Employment." This initiative serves as a major recruitment drive, bringing together more than 80 prominent firms to connect directly with jobseekers and university students. By offering on-the-spot interviews and career guidance, the DLD continues to build on its successful track record, having already facilitated over 2,100 job placements for locals since 2023 in collaboration with key government partners like Nafis and the Emirati Human Resources Development Council.
This surge in hiring aligns with the remarkable growth of Dubai’s property landscape, which saw a 52 percent jump in transaction value during the first half of 2026, reaching Dh111 billion. With a notable 38.7 percent increase in completed projects compared to the previous year, the sector has become a primary driver of the emirate's economy, contributing over 11 percent to the GDP in the first quarter alone. As developers and real estate companies continue to expand, these recruitment events remain essential for matching local talent with long-term professional pathways in one of the city's most vibrant and profitable industries.
